Hibernian striker Eilidh Adams has been named the SWPL Player of the Month for the second consecutive month. The 22-year-old forward has now won this prestigious award three times, making her just the third player in history to achieve back-to-back accolades in the SWPL. The last player to accomplish this feat was fellow Hibernian striker Kathleen McGovern, who did so in May 2025. Adams' recent success highlights the remarkable performance of Hibernian Women, as this marks the third consecutive month that a player from the club has secured the Player of the Month award.
Adams earned this recognition after a stellar finish to the 2025/26 campaign, scoring a goal in each of Hibernian Women's final three fixtures. Her total goal count for the season now stands at an impressive 19. Notably, Adams converted penalties to open the scoring in victories over Glasgow City, Partick Thistle, and Hearts, showcasing her ability to perform under pressure. Additionally, she assisted Tegan Bowie’s goal against Partick Thistle, further contributing to her team's success.
The other nominees for the award included Laura Berry from Rangers, Lisa Forrest from Glasgow City, and Lisa Evans, also from Glasgow City. However, Adams' consistent performance and goal-scoring ability set her apart, solidifying her status as one of the top players in the league. Hibernian fans will undoubtedly be excited to see what she accomplishes in the upcoming matches as she continues to lead the charge for the club.
